This idea does me give hope and comfort for the future. The only fear I have from this belief is that it can make us not live in the way Christ lived. (He was all in) (he is the epitome of go big or go home. he went big and didn't go home)(well he did but you know what I'm saying) Anyway this can often times, speaking as a Christian myself, set us up to live a reserved life instead of packing up our belongings and embracing an uncertain world before us. Jesus was the son of God and knew his gifts and talents from a young age and wasn't swayed from them. This however isn't done so much in Christian culture. I'd like the belief that our family members will be lifted toward heavens to be more of a propeller toward the future. I'd like it to be a belief that says to the believer, I cannot lose because I will be lifted along with those whom I love so dearly. So basically it's not the verse that discourages me but the culture that leads with this belief. Great share today. I'm glad we could discuss.
